I want whiter teeth, and I think everyone else in the world does too. The white strips sold all over the place seem to work the best, but I just cannot find the motivation to wear an uncomfortable white strip around the office or right when I wake up. I have tried to come up with some more convenient ways to wear them though. One of my biggest problems is that I cannot talk on a phone normally with them in. In order to solve that, I now only wear one, either the top strip or bottom, at a time. Next, I usually take about twenty minute showers, and so I just throw one on each time I get in the shower. You are supposed to do two a day, so I do one in the shower, and then a half at two separate times during the day.

It is easy for me to tell myself to start working harder, but I tend to cancel out all of my self-motivation attempts by blowing myself off. I figure if there is one person that will understand why I can’t do something right now, or why I didn’t do as well on a test it is I. However, this is so unhealthy! Every book I have ever read suggests that you need to keep promises that you make with yourself, and I struggle with that. This is where having a personal development mentor or some sort of coach comes in handy. Sometimes you need that outside influence to get you going. We can’t all have an inner fire that doesn’t need to be stoked by someone else, but we can still be successful by getting help from a coach or mentor.

How much is your life worth? How much is someone willing to pay to have you grace them with your presence? Life insurance companies seem to know, since they essentially put a price tag on your life. I wonder how they calculate the number. I am sure you can pay more when you are alive to have a larger policy, but how did they get the baseline number in the first place? I don’t think there is a mathematical calculation, but I am going to propose one. Your life is all about your family and friends, and so people who have more friends should be worth more. The mathematical calculation I hope they use with my life insurance is to take my Facebook friends and times it by $1000. Obviously I am just joking, but it would be odd to work for a life insurance company and determine how much a life is worth.
